Special Issue Announcement: IASP Journal on RASTA

We’re excited to share that a Special Issue of the IASP Journal has published insights from RASTA (Research and Analyses for Scientific Transformation and Advancement) — a pioneering initiative focused on addressing complex development challenges through embedded research and evidence-based action.
This special issue published the latest body of work across critical dimensions of health and nutrition, with a sharp focus on underrepresented geographies and vulnerable populations from India’s Northeast region. Papers focused on the following themes:
- Women’s health and double burden of malnutrition
- Malnutrition and socio-economic vulnerability
- Sexual and reproductive health disparities and migration
- Young women and informed maternity care
